Men's Volleyball Completes Season Sweep of Central State

(Wilberforce, OH) - The Thomas More men's volleyball team faced off against Central State University on Wednesday (March 13).  Thomas More defeated the Marauders in four sets and are now 11-9 overall.

Thomas More defeats Central State, 3-1.
  • Thomas More won the opening set 25 to 17.
  • Thomas More won the second set 25 to 18.
  • Central State won the third set 25 to 21.
  • Thomas More defeated Central State in the fourth set 25 to 20.

  • Freshman Jacob Schurfranz (Louisville, KY/Trinity) led the Saints in kills with 14.  He also led in total blocks with 2.

  • Sophomore Noah Smith-Trondle (Hartwell, OH/Walnut Hills) led the match in assists with 22.

  • Sophomore Dominic Rossi (Pittsburgh, PA/Shaler Area) led the match in digs with 10.

Thomas More men's volleyball team returns to play on Friday (March 15) against Lincoln Memorial University at home.  The match is set for 6:00 PM.
