Men's Tennis Opens Season Against Southern Indiana

Box Score (CRESTVIEW HILLS, KY)-Thomas More University's men's tennis team fell to Southern Indiana on Saturday (Feb 3), 7-0. The Saints overall record falls to 0-1.

• Sophomore Jackson Poulos (Edgewood, Ky./Covington) and senior Juan Pablo Villagrana Francisco (Cordoba, Veracruz/TEC de Monterreyell 6-2 to Axel Sabourin and Mathys Bove.
• Graduate student Sergio San Pablo (Madrid, Spain/Valdefuentes) and sophomore Samuel Mimbrero Lendinez (Madrid/ Gaspar Sanz) came up short to Quinten Gillespie and Dylan Brown 7-5.
• Sophomore Sebastian Guevara (Cusco, Peru/Andino Cusco International School Hillsborough CC) and Caleb Pritchett were defeated 7-6 and 7-1 (7-3 tiebreaker) by Guy Finkelstein and Eytan Michaeli.

• Sergio San Pablo fell by the scores 6-7 (5) and 1-6vto Axel Sabourin.
• Samuel Mimbrero Lendinez was defeated by Eytan Michaeli 6-7 (4), 7-6 (5), and 0-1 (6).
• Jackson Poulos fell 4-6 and 4-6 to Mathys Bove.
• Juan Pablo Villagrana Francisco fell by the scores of 4-6 and 3-6 to Quinten Gillespie.
• Sebastian Guevara was defeated 2-6 and 0-6 to Dylan Brown.
• Junior Eliot Burer (Coppet/Riverside) closed out the singles falling 3-6 and 4-6 to Blake Deaton.

The Saints return to action next Saturday (Feb 10) against Lindenwood at 4:00 pm ET at Five Seasons Family Sports Club.
