Saints Complete Sweep of Lions

(CINCINNATI, OH) – The Thomas More men's volleyball team competed against Mount St. Joseph University on Wednesday (February 21).  The Saints defeated MSJ in straight sets.  The Saints are now 8-6 overall on the season.

 

Thomas More defeats Mount St. Joseph, 3-0.

• Thomas More won an exciting opening set, 37 to 35.
• Thomas More took the second set, 25 to 21.
• Thomas More won the third set and the match, 25 to 22.

 

• First year Luke Duncan (Houston, TX / Memorial Senior) led the Saint offense with 14 kills in the match. He also had 3 digs, 4 assisted blocks and a solo block.
• Junior Ben Albers (Cincinnati, OH / Elder) recorded 10 kills and 6 digs for the Saints.
• First year Taban Kahre (Carmel, IN / Park Tudor) had a team high 43 assists in the match. This marks a new single game program record.

 

The Thomas More men's volleyball team returns to play on Friday (February 23) against Maryville in the Connor Convocation Center  The match is set for 6:00 PM.
