Softball Drops Two in Tennessee

(SMYRNA, TN)-Thomas More University's softball team fell to Wisconsin-Parkside in game one 4-1 and 3-1 to Purdue Northwest in game two. The Saints overall record falls to 0-3.

How they scored
Game 1:
  • Parkside score two runs in the top of the first, one run in the top of the second, and one run in the top of the third (0-4).
  • First year Anna Greenwell (Fort Thomas, Ky./Highlands) grounded out to second to score sophomore Ashton Elbe (Cincinnati, Ohio/Mercy McAuley) (1-4).
Game 2:
  • Purdue Northwest scored one run in the bottom of the first and two runs in the bottom of the third.
