- With 10:01 to play in the first half, sophomore Carson Browne (Cincinnati, Ohio/Elder) laid in a layup to extend the Saints lead to 25-14.
- Redshirt first year Kai Simpson (Lexington, Ky./Frederick Douglas) made a layup to make it a 34-23 game with 6:03 remaining in the half.
- Casey George knocked in a 3-point basket at the buzzer beater to give the Saints a 51-33 lead into the locker room at the half.
- Casey George led with 18 points and three assists and had four rebounds.
- Ryan Paris followed with 12 points and two assists.

- Senior Wyatt Vieth (Hebron, Ky./St. Henry) led the Saints with eight rebounds in the first half.
