Saints Wrap Up the Road Trip With Loss to Hillsdale

(Hillsdale, MI) - The Thomas More women's volleyball team faced off against Hillsdale College on Saturday (October 5) for another conference match-up.  Hillsdale defeated the Saints in three sets as the Saints move on to be 4-3 in conference and 9-7 overall.

  • Northwood won the opening set 25 to 19.
  • Northwood won the second set 25 to 18.
  • Northwood won the third set 25 to 12.
 
Notables
  • Junior Emily Acito (Cincinnati, OH/Mercy McAuley) led the Saints in kills with 10.  She also led in blocks with 3.
  • Freshman Audrey Warrick (Linton, IN/Linton Stockton) led the Saints in assists with 10.
  • Senior Asia Ferrando (Masone, Italy/Barletti Ovada) led the match in digs with 14.
  • Junior Matilde Giamberini (Gornate Olona, Italy/Liceo Curie) and Freshman Kat Koepke (New Haven, IN/New Haven Senior) both led in service aces with 2 each.
