(LOUISVILLE, KY.) – Thomas More University men's cross-country team placed 7th at the Live in the Lou Cross Country Classic on Saturday (October 5th) with a team score of 229. The Saints traveled down south-71 to compete in the largest race in Kentucky.

- First-Year Dawson Benjamin (Hebron, KY./Connor) led the Saints with a 32nd place finish and running the 8km race in 27:22.
- Senior Nick Lanter (Cincinnati, Ohio/La Salle) earned a top-50 finish, breaking the 28 minute mark and crossing the finish line in 27:54.
- First-Year Noah Miller (Union, KY./Cooper) earned 59th place with a time of 28:19.
- The junior-sophomore-sophomore trio of Jude Theriot (Independence, KY./Simon Kenton), Carter Engle (Independence, KY./Holy Cross), and David Warner (Indianapolis, IN./Roncalli) stuck together throughout the race and finished 78th, 81st, and 116th, respectively. The 4-6 split between the three was 55 seconds.

The Saints will head into a bye-week this week for Fall Break and look to explode at the Jenna Strong Invitational meet in Wilmington, OH.
