Men's Cross Country Close Out Regular Season at the Jenna Strong Invitational

(WILMINGTON, OH.) – Thomas More University men's cross-country team placed 8th at the Jim Boland 8k race during the Jenna Strong Cross Country Classic on Friday, October 18th with a team score of 200. The Saints entered the heart of Wilmington and had three runners complete the 5 mile race in under 27 minutes.  

• First-Year Dawson Benjamin (Hebron, KY./Connor) led the Saints with a 16th place finish and running the 8km race in 26:09.  

• Senior Nick Lanter (Cincinnati, Ohio/La Salle) placed 27th, breaking the 26:30 minute mark and crossing the finish line in 26:26.   

• First-Year Noah Miller (Union, KY./Cooper) earned 39th place with a time of 26:41. 

• Junior Jude Theriot (Independence, KY./Simon Kenton) placed 78th with a time of 27:42. 

• Sophomores Carter Engle (Independence, KY./Holy Cross) and David Warner (Indianapolis, IN./Roncalli) finished 95th and 126th, respectively. Both earned personal best times of 28:14 and 29:03.  

The Saints made a statement this past week with 8 different personal best times and will look to build upon their performance at the G-MAC Conference Championships in Hillsdale, MI next Saturday, October 26th.
