(CRESTVIEW HILLS, KY)- Thomas More University's men's soccer team defeated the Cedarville Yellow Jackets on Thursday (October, 31st) by a score of 2 to 0. Thomas More improves to an overall record of 6-8-2 on the season and a Great Midwest Athletic Conference record of 6-4-2. The victory also secures the Saints a spot in the G-MAC Men's Soccer Tournament.
- In the 82nd minute of the match, graduate student Charlie Allan (Cardiff, Wales / Cardiff) received a pass off a corner kick from junior Julen van Egmond (Amsterdam, Netherlands / St. Nicolaaslyceum). Allan scored to the left side of the net to put the Saints in front 1 to 0.
- A few minutes later in the 87th minute, junior Will Fox (Ely, UK / Bishop Laney) scored on a fast break off passes from sophomore Andres Ortiz (Toronto, Canada / Chaminade) and first year Xavier Munro (Medina, OH / Walsh Jesuit) to make it a 2 to 0 game.
- Junior goalkeeper Drew Kendrick (Batavia, OH / Batavia) got the start and recorded 2 saves in the shutout victory.
- Five different Saints recorded shots on goal, and the Saints recorded 7 total shots on goal.
- Five different Saints recorded a point in the match for Thomas More.

The Saints return to action on Saturday (November, 2nd) when they host Kentucky Wesleyan at Republic Bank Field. Thomas More will recognize our seniors before the match for their contributions to the program. That match is set to begin at 3:30 PM.
