(Hammond, IN) - The Thomas More women's volleyball team faced off against Davenport University on Saturday (October 19) during the second day of the Crossover Tournament. Davenport beat the Saints in three sets. The Saints then went on to face Missouri S&T in their second match, and lost in a hard fought three sets. They now move to 9-12 overall on the season.

Match 1: Davenport beats Thomas More, 0-3.
- Davenport won the opening set 25 to 12.
- Davenport won the second set 25 to 17.
- Davenport won the third set 25 to 20.
Match 2: Missouri S&T beats Thomas More, 0-3.
- Missouri S&T won the opening set 25 to 13.
- Missouri S&T won the second set 25 to 22.
- Missouri S&T won the third set 25 to 15.

- Junior Emily Acito (Cincinnati, OH/Mercy McAuley) and Senior Sydney Hilderbran (Bowling Green, OH/Lakota West) both led the Saints in kills with 7 a piece.
- Freshman Audrey Warrick (Linton, IN/Linton Stockton) led the Saints in assists with 12.
- Senior Asia Ferrando (Masone, Italy/Barletti Ovada), Junior Emily Acito (Cincinnati, OH/Mercy McAuley), and Freshman Kat Koepke (New Haven, IN/New Haven Senior) all led in service aces with 1 each.
- Junior Matilde Giamberini (Gornate Olona, Italy/Liceo Curie) led in blocks with 3.
- Senior Asia Ferrando (Masone, Italy/Barletti Ovada) led in digs with 10.
Match 2:
- Senior Sydney Hilderbran (Bowling Green, OH/Lakota West) led the Saints in kills with 8.
- Freshman Audrey Warrick (Linton, IN/Linton Stockton) led the Saints in assists with 17. She also led in service aces with 2.
- Senior Asia Ferrando (Masone, Italy/Barletti Ovada) led the match in digs with 16.
- Junior Matilde Giamberini (Gornate Olona, Italy/Liceo Curie) led in blocks with 3.
- The Thomas More women's volleyball team returns to play on Wednesday (October 23) against Central State University at home. The match is set for 6:00 PM.
