(WILMINGTON, OH.) – Thomas More University women's cross-country team placed 3rd at the the Jenna Strong Cross Country Classic on Friday, October 18th with a team score of 141. The Saints entered the heart of Wilmington and had five different personal bests during the 5k race, with Savannah Faught breaking the 19-minute mark.

The junior duo of Joelle Klavon (Carmel, IN./Guerin Catholic) and Marlee Ross (Brookville, OH./Brookeville) finished in 26th and 33rd place, with Klavon crossing the line in 19:40 and Ross 20:04.

The Saints made a statement this past week with 5 different personal best times and will look to build upon their performance at the GMAC Conference Championships in Hillsdale, MI next Saturday, October 26th.
