(CRESTVIEW HILLS, KY) – The Thomas More University football team fell to (RV) Ashland University on Saturday (October, 19th) by a score of 28 to 3. Thomas More falls to an overall record of 3-4 on the season and 2-3 in G-MAC competition.

- With 6:43 to go in the opening quarter, Ashland finds the endzone on a 19 yard touchdown pass. The PAT makes it 7 to 0.

- Thomas More gets on the scoreboard with 2:04 to go in the half, thanks to a junior Luke Iden (Taylor Mill, KY / Scott) 25 yard field goal. Making the score 7 to 3.
- Ashland opens the second half with a touchdown on a 1 yard run to make it 14 to 3.

- Ashland intercepts a Thomas More pass and takes it back for a touchdown to extend the lead to 21 to 3.
- With 8:29 to go, Ashland adds another score on an 11 yard run to make it 28 to 3.

- Sophomore quarterback Chase Crone (Independence, KY / Simon Kenton) got the start and threw for 156 yards. He completed 15 of his 29 passes.
- First year Duncan Bradley (Springfield, OH / Springfield) recorded 3 catches for a team high 63 yards in the game.
- Redshirt junior Jevan Rivers (Duval County, FL / Edward H. White) led the defense with 10 total tackles, and recorded an interception in the game.

The football team will return to action on Saturday (October, 26th) when they play host to Findlay. That game is set to kick off at 12:00 PM.
