(CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.) – The Thomas More University women's lacrosse team lost to Georgetown (Ky.) on Saturday (April, 15th) afternoon. The Saints drop to an overall record of 6-10 on the season.

- First year Meg Pierani (Bright, Ind. / Mercy McAuley) scored an unassisted goal to tie it up at 1. (1-1)
- Georgetown responded with a goal to take back the lead. (1-2)
- Sophomore Gracey Robinson (Lebanon, Ohio / Lebanon) scored to tie it back up with 6 minutes to go in the opening quarter. (2-2)
- Junior Kendra Yurt (Louisville, Ky. / Mercy) gave the Saints the lead with an unassisted goal. (3-2)
- Meg Pierani followed with a goal off an assist from Gracey Robinson to give Thomas More a 2 goal lead. (4-2)
- Georgetown scored 4 straight goals to take the lead into the second quarter. (4-6)
- First year Sarah Metz (Middletown, Ohio / Little Miami) scored her first goal of the game to get the Saints back within 1. (5-6)
- First year Rachel Blevins (Cincinnati, Ohio / Oak Hills) caught a pass from Gracey Robinson and fired it into the net to tie it up. (6-6)
- Georgetown scored two more goals to take back the lead. (6-8)
- Meg Pierani scored again on a fast break goal off an assist from Gracey Robinson to make it a one goal game at the break. (7-8)
- Georgetown opened the second half with 3 goals. (7-11)
- Gracey Robinson records back to back assists both to Sarah Metz to get it back to a two goal game. (9-11)
- Georgetown scored 2 more goals to push their lead back to 4. (9-13)
- Junior Madi Carle (Cincinnati, Ohio / Mercy McAuley) scored on another Robinson assist. (10-13)
- Georgetown would score again, and Meg Pierani followed with a goal as time expired to end the game. (11-14)
- Gracey Robinson recorded 7 points in the game including 6 assists and a goal.
- Meg Pierani scored 4 goals for the Saints and also recorded 2 caused turnovers.
- Sarah Metz found the net three times to collect a hat trick.
- Madi Carle picked up a team high 6 ground balls to go with a goal and a team high 6 draw controls.
- Senior Jaya Jenson (Metairie, La. / Cabrini) collected 13 saves while in goal.
The Saints will return to action on Saturday (April, 22nd) when they host Anderson University at Republic Bank Field. That game is set to begin at 1:00 PM ET.
