Women's Lacrosse Scores 16 Goals, Falls to Montreat by 1

(MONTREAT, NC.) - The women's lacrosse team at Thomas More battled at Montreat College but came up shot in a 17-16. First year Meg Pierani (Bright, Ind. / Mercy McAuley) led the Saints with 5 goals and 2 assists.

• Montreat scores 2 goals to take another lead. (1-3)
• Kendra Yurt scored her first goal of the game off a Meg Pierani assist. (2-3)
• Meg Pierani follows with an unassisted goal to tie the game. (3-3)
• Montreat scored 2 more goals to retake the lead. (3-5)
• Junior Mckenzie Mobley (Harrison, Ohio / Harrison) and Madi Carle each get unassisted goals to tie the game up at 5 at the half. (5-5)
• Meg Pierani opens the second half with an unassisted goal to take a Saints lead. (6-5)
