Men's Lacrosse Drops to #7 Tennessee Wesleyan

(ATHENS, Tenn.) - The Thomas More men's lacrosse team fell to #7 Tennessee Wesleyan on Tuesday afternoon (March, 7th) by a score of 14 to 5. The Saints drop to 0-6 overall on the season.

• First Year Spencer Lethbridge (Olmsted Falls, Ohio / Olmsted Falls) gave the Saints an early lead with an unassisted goal. (1-0)
• Tennessee Wesleyan answered with a goal of their own. (1-1)
• Spencer Lethbridge scored his second goal of the day to retake the lead for the Saints. (2-1)
• Tennessee Wesleyan scored 2 goals to take the lead after the first quarter. (2-3)
• Spencer Lethbridge collects the hat trick with his third goal off an assist from first year Nick Boriin (Worthington, Ohio / Thomas Worthington). (3-3)
• Tennessee Wesleyan scored the next 5 goals throughout the remainder of the first half and into the second. (3-8)
• First year Andrew Pulliam (Lexington, Ky. / Lexington Christian Academy) found the back of the net to cut the lead to 4. (4-8)
• Tennessee Wesleyan scored 6 more goals to take a 10 goal lead. (4-14)
• Nick Boriin scored an unassisted goal in the final minutes for the Saints. (5-14)

•  Nick Boriin ended the game with a goal and an assist.
• Spencer Lethbridge also tallied 3 goals and 3 ground balls for the Saints.
• Andrew Pulliam had a goal and 3 ground balls.
• First year Donahugh Simpson (Spanish Town, Jamaica / St. George's College) led the team with 4 ground balls.
• First year Trevor Almanza (Cincinnati, Ohio / Fairfield) tallied 12 saves while playing in the goal.

Men's lacrosse will return to action on Wednesday (March 15th) when they face off against Michigan-Dearborn at Republic Bank Field. Start time set for 4:00 PM ET.
