Women's Tennis Suffer 7-0 Loss to #13 Lindsey Wilson

(COLUMBIA, Ky.)-Thomas More University's women's tennis team was defeated by #13 Lindsey Wilson on Thursday (March 30). The Saints overall record falls to 4-8 and 1-5 in conference.

• First year Alexis Covington (Cincinnati, Ohio/Walnut Hills) and sophomore Dakota Schroeder (Tipp City, Ohio/Tippecaneo) fell to Anastasiia Ivanchenko and Salome Sposetti 6-2.
• First year Heidi Kane (Gilford, Ind./East Central) and junior Cassie Saner (Independence, Ky. Simon Kenton were defeated 6-1 by Reshma Challarapu and Darija Mladenovic.
• Sophomore Noelia Martinez Garcia (Santander, Spain/IES Las Llamas) and senior Kimberly Sabga (Maraval, Trinidad and Tobago International School of Port of Spain) fell 6-0 to Heyka Rodriguez and Mayra Gisone.

• Alexis Covington was defeated 6-2 and 6-2 by Reshma Challarapu.
• Dakota Schroeder fell 6-4 and 6-1 to Salome Sposetti.
• Noelia Martinez Garcia came up short to Darija Mladenovic 6-1 and 6-3.
• Heidi Kane suffered a 6-3 and 6-0 loss to Parisa Rachdanone.
• Cassie Saner fell to Anatasiia Ivanchenko 6-0 and 6-2.
• Kimberly Sabga was defeated 6-0 and 6-1 to Heyka Rodriguez.

The Saints return to the court next Friday (April ) at 7:00 pm ET against Freed Hardeman at Five Seasons Family Sports Club.
