Men's Tennis Drops Match to #18 Cumberlands (Ky.) 7-0

(WILLIAMSBURG, Ky.)-Thomas More University men's tennis team fell to #18 Cumberlands (Ky.) on Monday afternoon (March 20) 7-0. The Saints overall record falls to 1-7 and 0-4 in conference.

• Senior Sergio San Pablo (Madrid, Spain/Valdefuentes) and first year Jackson Poulos (Edgewood, Ky./Covington Catholic) fell to Martin Muller and Hung Ju Wu 6-3.
•  Junior Nehmia Molla (Addis Ababa, Ethiopia Heritage Academy) and  junior Juan Pablo Villagrana Francisco (Cordoba, Veracruz/TEC de Monterrey) were defeated 6-0 to Max Nijssen and Sjoerd Nijssen.
•  First year Sebastian Guevara (Cusco, Peru Andino Cusco International School) and sophomore Eliot Burer came up short to Mattias Le Montagner and Juanchi Alcon 6-3.

• Sergio San Pablo fell 6-2 and 6-2 to Mattias Le Montagner.
• Jackson Poulos was defeated by Martin Muller 6-1 and 6-2.
• Juan Pablo Villagrana fell to C. de La Fuente 6-1 and 6-2.
• Nehmia Molla was defeated 6-0 and 6-3 to Killian Surmont.
• Eliot Burer came up short to Hung Ju Wu 6-0 and 6-2.
• Sebastian Guevara fell to Lucas Augotr 6-0 and 6-0.

The Saints return to the court on Friday (March 24) against Pikeville at 1:00 pm in Pikeville, Ky.
