Women's Tennis Drops to #21 Campbellsville (Ky.) 6-1

(CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky.)-Thomas More University women's tennis team fell 6-1 to #21 Campbellsville (Ky.) on Wednesday afternoon (March 15). The Saints overall record falls to 3-4 and 0-1 in conference. 

• Senior Kimberly Sabga (Maraval, Trinidad and Tobago International School of Port of Spain) and sophomore Noelia Martinez Garcia (Santander, Spain/IES Las Llamas) defeated Miru Nonaka and Candela Converti 6-3.
• First year Heidi Kane (Gilford, Ind./East Central) and junior Cassie Saner (Independence, Ky. Simon Kenton) won 6-1 over Clara Asprella and Ariadna Perez.
• First year Alexis Covington (Cincinnati, Ohio/Walnut Hills) and sophomore Sydney Johnson (Independence, Ky./St. Henry) fell to Blaeke Mitchell and Oriana Espinoza 6-0.

• Alexis Covington was defeated by Ariadna Perez 6-0 and 6-0.
• Noelia Martiez Garcia fell 6-2 and 6-0 to Miru Nonaka.
• Cassie Saner fell by the scores of 6-0 and 6-2 to Blaeke Mitchell.
• Heidi Kane was defeated by Oriana Espinoza 6-1 ans 6-2.
• Kimberly Sabga fell to Clara Asprella 6-2 and 6-2.
• Sydney Johnson came up short to Candela Converti 6-1 and 6-3.

The Saints return to action on Friday (March 17) against RV UT Southern at 7:00 pm ET at Five Seasons Family Sports Club.
