Women's Tennis Falls to Dayton

(DAYTON, Ohio)-Thomas More University women's tennis team fell to the University of Dayton on Sunday afternoon (February 12), 7-0. The Saints overall record falls to 1-2.

• Sophomore Dakota Schroeder (Tipp City, Ohio/Tippecaneo) and sophomore Noelia Martinez Garcia (Santander, Spain/IES Las Llamas) fell to Natalie Osiecki and Neena Katauskas 6-2.
• First year Alexis Covington (Cincinnati, Ohio/Walnut Hills) and first year Heidi Kane (Gilford, Ind./East Central) were defeated 6-1 by Elizabeth Hamilton and Laura Greb.
• Senior Kimberly Sabga (Maraval, Trinidad and Tobago International School of Port of Spain) and junior Sydney Johnson (Independence, Ky./St. Henry) fell by the score of 6-2 to Jordan Mitchell and Grace Murphy.

• Alexis Covington was defeated 6-0 and 6-2 to Natalie Osieckyi
• Dakota Schroder fell 6-0 and 6-2 to Neena Katauskas.
• Heidi Kane was defeated by Elizabeth Hamilton 6-2 and 6-2.
• Noelia Martinez Garcia fell 6-2 and 6-0 to Laura Greb.
• Kimberly Sabga came up short to Jordan Mitchell 6-1 and 6-3.
• Sydney Johnson was defeated by Grace Murphy 6-2 and 6-1.

The Saints return to action on Friday (February 17) against Cedarville at 7:00 pm ET at Five Seasons Family Sports Club.
