(TIFFIN, OH)- The #3 Seed Thomas More University men's soccer team tied the #2 Seed Lake Erie Storm on Thursday (November, 9th) afternoon by a score of 1 to 1. The Storm would go on to advance in to the finals of the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Championship by a 5 to 4 result in penalty kicks. The Saints finish their inaugural NCAA Division II season with an overall record to 10-7-3.
- In the 33rd minute of the match, junior Finn Battenstein (Dusseldorf, Germany / Martin Luther King Gesamtschule) scored off a corner kick by senior Charlie Allan (Cardiff, Wales / Cardiff) to give the Saints the lead.
- In the 81st minute Lake Erie evened the match with a goal that would force overtime.
