(MIDLAND, MI) - The Thomas More football team was defeated by the Northwood University Timberwolves on Saturday (November, 4th) afternoon by a final score of 24 to 20. The Saints fall to an overall record of 4-6 on the season and Great Midwest Athletic Conference record of 3-5.

- Redshirt junior Rae'Von Vaden (Louisville, KY / Marion C. Moore) scored on a 29 yard touchdown run to give the Saints the early lead. Sophomore Luke Iden (Taylor Mill, KY / Scott High School) made the PAT to make it 7-0 Saints.
- Redshirt sophomore Jaden Hall (Springfield, OH / Shawnee) scored on 2 yard run to extend the Saint lead to 13.

- With nine seconds to go in the half, Vaden finds redshirt first year Kel Hawkins (Villa Hills, KY / Dixie Heights) for a touchdown. Iden made the PAT to make it 20-0 Saints.
- Northwood opens the second half by making a 42 yard field goal to make it 20-3.
- With 3 minutes to go in the quarter, Northwood scores on a touchdown pass to make it 20-10.

- Northwood scored on a one yard touchdown run to get it to a three point game. 20-17.
- With 4 minutes to go Northwood scores on a 11 yard pass to take a 24 to 20 lead.

- Rae'Von Vaden passed for 238 yards and a touchdown. He ran for 58 yards and a touchdown for the Saints.
- Sophomore Preston Agee (Alexandria, KY / Covington Catholic) caught four passes for 81 yards.
- Junior Isaac Abdon (Erlanger, KY / Lloyd Memorial) led the defense with 13 tackles in the game.
- Junior Colton Sandhas (Cincinnati, OH / Elder) recorded his 4th interception of the season.

The football team will return to action next Saturday (November, 11th) when they host Lake Erie at Republic Bank Field for Senior Day. Game time is set for 12:00 PM.
