Saints Hit Century Mark in Home Opener Against Miami-Hamilton

Box Score (CRESTVIEW HILLS, KY)-Thomas More University women's basketball team won in their home opener on Wednesday night (November, 22nd) over Miami-Hamilton by a score of 100 to 34 . The Saints improve to an overall record of 2-2 on the season.

• Midway thru the opening quarter senior Kelly Brenner (Cincinnati, Ohio/Roger Bacon) knocks down a triple off an assist from senior Alex Smith (Cincinnati, Ohio/Mercy McAuley) to push the Saint lead to 15 (21-6).
• Senior Hailie Morgan (Cincinnati, OH / Seton) finds junior Callie Hunt (Trenton, OH / Edgewood) for a layup with 3:06 to go in the quarter (28-6).
• First year Rylee Leonard (Sardinia, Ohio/Eastern Brown) ends the quarter with a layup on a fast break off an assist from senior Mattison Vickers (Covington, Ky./Simon Kenton) (30-6).
• Sophomore Natalie Noel (Salem, IN / Salem) got the first Saint points of the second quarter with a triple off an assist from Rylee Turner (33-9).

• With three minutes to go in the half Alex Smith knocks down a three off a Maggie Jones assist to extend the Saint lead (49-16).
