(CRESTVIEW HILLS, KY) – The Thomas More women's volleyball team beat the Lake Erie Storm on Saturday (November, 11th) evening by a score of three sets to zero. The Saints finish the season with an overall record of 7-23 and a Great Midwest Athletic Conference record of 5-14.
- Thomas More took the opening set 25 to 18.
- Thomas More then took set two by a score of 25 to 16.
- Thomas More won set three and the match by a score of 25 to 20.
- Junior Sydney Hilderbran (Cincinnati, OH / Lakota West) led the Saints offense with 11 kills in the match. She also recorded a service ace, 7 digs, a solo block and a block assist.
- Sophomore Emily Acito (Cincinnati, OH / Mercy McAuley) recorded 13 digs to go with 5 kills in the match.
- Junior setter Sam McClanahan (Georgetown, KY / Scott County) recorded 24 assists, 5 digs, 2 kills, and two assisted blocks.
- Junior libero Asia Ferrando (Masone, Italy / Barletti Ovada) recorded a team high 21 digs to go with a service ace and 2 assists.
- Senior Kailtyn Stivers (Louisville, KY / Eastern) recorded 9 digs, 2 kills, 3 assists, and a service ace.
- Sophomore Ella Bell (Terre Haute, IN / Terre Haute North) recorded 3 solo blocks, 2 assited blocks, and 4 kills in the match.
This concludes the Saints inaugural season in NCAA Division II and the Great Midwest Athletic Conference. The Women's Volleyball program will be back in action next fall for the 2024 season.
