- Graduate student Luke Rudy (Cincinnati, Ohio/Oak Hills) kicked off the scoring for the Saints, draining a 3-point shot to put the team up 3-2 with 19:09 on the clock.
- Sophomore Reid Jolly (Alexandria, Ky./Campbell County) drove to the basket for a layup with 12:33 left in the first half to extend the Saints lead to eight (17-9).
- With 6:06 to play, first year transfer Jacob Jones (Jeffersonville, Ind./Jeffersonville) made a layup to put the Saints up 25-21.
- First year Casey George (Pickerington, Ohio/Pickerington North) closed out the first half with a 3-point jump shot to give the Saints a 35-32 lead going into the locker room at the half.
- Jolly led the saints with 14 points in the first half to lead the Saints and had three rebounds.
- Redshirt junior Ryan Batte (Cincinnati, Ohio/Oak Hills) led the Saints with six rebounds and three assists and had three points.
- Graduate student Garren Bertsch (Alexandria, Ky./Campbell County) tallied five rebounds, five points, and one assist.
- The Saints were 50% (14-28) from the field, 30% (3-10) from the 3-point line, and 80% (4-5) from the free throw line.
- Jolly started the second half off for the Saints with a jump shot to extend the Saints lead to 37-32 with 8:26 to play.
- With 12:48 on the clock, Rudy would hit a 3-point shot to put the Saints up 46-41.

- Batte would make two free throws to secure the Saints win over the Lions.
