(BOWLING GREEN, Ky.) – The Thomas More University women's golf team concluded the fall portion of their 2022-23 season Tuesday afternoon at Bowling Green Country Club at the Mid-South Conference Fall Invitational. The Saints finished in 9th place with a total score of 1,048 (343, 359, 346).
This is the Saints best 54-hole score of the season, while they also shot their best 18-hole score of the season with the 343 in round one.
Leading the way for the Saints were senior
Rachel Hummel and fifth year
Natalie Hamilton. Hummel finished in 31st, after shooting a 254 (84, 87, 83). She had one birdie in the tournament, on hole one this afternoon.
Hamilton tied for 32nd at 258, moving up four spots in the standings today with an 82 after an 83 and 93 in the first two rounds. She tied for the team-lead with two birdies during the tournament.
Hannah Rice finished in 39th and tied her season-best round with an 86 in rounds one and two before a 93 today. She also tied for the team-lead with two birdies.
Maddie Johnson tied for 51st at 281, moving up three spots today after an 88. Johnson also carded a pair of birdies during the tournament.
Hannah Dargie finished in 57th at 289. The best round of her tournament came in round two, shooting a 93 and birdieing the first hole.
