Box Score 2 (ADRIAN, Mich.)- Thomas More women's volleyball team remain undefeated with double win over Siena Heights and Spring Arbor on Friday (September 3) to move their record to 9-0.
Game 1: Siena Heights 3-0
The Saints moved past Siena Heights in three games with the scores of 25-12, 25-17, and 25-21.
Game 2: Spring Arbor 3-0
Thomas More won in three games with the scores of 25-19, 25-21, and 25-18.
Game 1:
- Junior Ally Albrinck (Cincinnati, Ohio / Mercy McAuley) led the team win 11 kills.
- Junior Sawyer Lorentz (Dover, Ohio/Dover) followed with 10 kills.
- First-year Asia Ferrando (Masone, Italy/Barletti Ovada) led the Saints with 19 digs.
- Senior Lizzie Schoenfeld (Cincinnati, Ohio/Seton) recorded 16 assists to lead the team.
Game 2:
- Senior Emily Mohs (Cincinnati, Ohio/Seton) led the Saints with 11 kills.
- First year Tori Wurtz (Cold Springs, Ky./Holy Cross) followed with 10 kills.
- Schoenfeld had 10 digs and led the team with 19 assists.
- Ferrando recorded 17 digs.
- The Saints return to action tomorrow with their first match up against Siena Heights at 10:00 am and Spring Arbor at 2:00 pm in the Siena Heights Tournament in Adrian, Michigan.
