Box Score (PORTSMOUTH, Ohio)- Thomas More University's women's soccer team remain undefeated in the Mid-South Conference with their 2-0 win over Shawnee State on Wednesday nights (September 29). The Saints record improves to 7-2 overall and 3-0 in conference.
- With only 2:37 into the game, senior captain Jordan Harley (Cincinnati, Ohio / Mother of Mercy) found the back of the net off of an assist by first-year Eva Kinwel (Anaheim, Netherlands / Beehadal lyceum) to put the Saints up 1-0.
- Kinwel, in the 55th minute, scored to extend the Saints lead to 2-0.
- Harley recorded five shots with three being on goal and one of which found the back of the net.
- Kinwel tallied two shots with both being on goal and made one for a goal, she also had an assist.
- Sophomore Ainsley Clark (Oxford, Ohio/Talawanda) had five total shots and two were on goal.
- Junior Sydney Rhodes (South Lebanon, Ohio / Kings) attempted two shots with one on goal.
- Senior Lindsey Brown (Melbourne, Ky. / Campbell County), first year Lotte Derksen's (Didam, Netherlands/Liemers College), and graduate student Nely Martinez-Hernandez (Madrid, Spain / Jaime Ferran) all had one shot on goal.
- First year Grace Armentrout (Cincinnati, Ohio/Oak Hills) had one shot.
- First-year goal keeper Kylie O'Leary (Fairfield, Ohio/Fairfield) made two saves.
The Saints return to action on Saturday (October 2) as they travel to Pikeville, Ky. to take on Pikeville at 2:00 pm.
