Box Score (GEORGETOWN, Ky.)- Thomas More University's women's volleyball team moves to 15-1 overall and 4-1 in conference, with their 3-1 win over Georgetown College on Monday night (September 20).
The Saints 3-1 over Georgetown with the scores of 25-18, 25-20, 16-25, and 25-19.
- MSC attacker of the week, senior Emily Mohs (Cincinnati, Ohio/Seton), led things for the Saints with 17 kills and recorded six total blocks (three solo and three assisted).
- Junior Danyka Groover (Rising Sun, Ind./Rising Sun) recorded eight total blocks to lead the team, with three being solo and five being assisted.
- Junior's Sawyer Lorentz (Dover, Ohio/Dover) followed behind with five blocks (one solo and four assisted) and slammed down seven kills.
- Junior Ally Albrinck (Cincinnati, Ohio/Mercy McAuley) made four total blocks (one solo and three assisted) and also put down seven kills.
- MSC defender of the week, first-year Asia Ferrando (Masone, Italy/Barletti Ovada), tallied 24 digs to lead the team.
- Senior Megan Finley (North Bend, Ohio/Taylor) notched 15 digs and sophomore Kaitlyn Stivers (Louisville, Ky./Eastern) followed with 14 digs.
- First-year Sam McClanahan (Georgetown, Ky./Scott County) led the Saints with 23 assists and made two solo blocks.
- Senior Lizzie Schoenfeld (Cincinnati, Ohio/Seton) followed with 14 assists and made three service aces.
Next up, the Saints travel to Campbellsville, Ky. for another MSC match up against the Campbellsville Tigers at 7:00 pm.
