Men's Soccer Draw to Oakland City 2-2

(OAKLAND CITY, Ind.)- Thomas More men's soccer team tied Oakland City 2-2 on Wednesday afternoon (September 1) after the game was not decided after two overtimes. The Saints record is now 0-0-2.

• With 25:40 into the first half, First-year Flo Meyer (Mulheim, Germany / Luisenschule) scored his first career goal as a Saint off of a defensive error by the Mighty Oaks to put the Saints ahead 1-0.
• Senior Griffin Garrison (Cincinnati, Ohio / McNicholas) found the back of the net in the second half with 55:17 into the game, assisted by Meyer (2-0).
• Oakland City's Josue Dubon scored 80:37 into the game to make it a 2-1 game. 
• Soon after at 83:11, Oakland's Jorge Tallada tied the game up at 2-2, assisted by Sergio Revuelta.

• Garrison recorded three shots, two of which were on goal, and also found the back of the net for a goal.
• Meyer put two shots on goal, scoring one of them, and recorded an assist.
• Junior Reese Foster (Florence, Ky./Covington Catholic) and Junior Thomas Wolfe (Marysville, Ohio/Marysville) both had one shot on goal.
• Junior goalkeeper George Tidswell (Skipton, England / South Craven School) recorded six saves.
