Women's Soccer Come up Short to #13 Lindsey Wilson, 1-0

(COLUMBIA, Ky.)- Thomas More women's soccer team came up short to #13 Lindsey Wilson Tuesday (March 9), 1-0. This moves the Saints overall record to 2-4 and 2-3 in the conference.

• With 14:34 to play, Lindsey Wilson's Yudaya Nakayenze headed the ball into the goal.

• The Blue Raiders outshot the Saints 11-5
• Sophomore midfielder Ryann Meddings (Fairfield, Ohio/Fairfield, senior midfielder Morgan Beare (Cincinnati, Ohio/Oak Hills), and senior defender Abby Hutcheson (Zanesville, Ohio/Rosecrans) all had one shot on goal.
• First-year forward Ainsley Clark (Oxford, Ohio/Talawanda) and first-year midfielder Grace Armentrout (Cincinnati, Ohio/ Oak Hills) had one shot.

The Saints travel to Georgetown, Ky. to take on Georgetown College March 11 with a 6:00 pm ET kickoff.
