Box Score (CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.)- Thomas More's women's volleyball team swept Pikeville 3-0 on Monday night (March 29). The Saints overall record improves to 7-11 and 6-8 in the conference.
The Saints swept Pikeville in three games with the scores of 25-19, 25-16, and 25-19.
- Sophomore right side Alyssa Albrinck (Cincinnati, Ohio/Mercy McAuley) and first-year defensive specialist Kenzie Skaggs both led the team with eight kills.
- Junior outside hitter Lacey Chestnut (Independence, Ky./Simon Kenton) followed with seven kills.
- Junior defensive specialist Megan Finley (North Bend, Ohio/Taylor) recorded 15 digs to lead the team and had four assists.
- Junior setter Lizzie Schoenfeld (Cincinnati, Ohio/Seton) followed with 9 digs and led the team with 18 assists.
- Sophomore setter Rachel Berwanger (Cincinnati, Ohio/Mercy McAuley) had 15 assists and first-year defensive specialist Kaitlyn Stivers (Louisville, Ky./Eastern) had 12 digs.
The Saints return to the court April 2 as they travel to McKenzie, Tenn. to take on Bethel at 2:00 pm CT/3:00 pm ET.
