Men's Soccer Win in Thrilling Fashion Over Pikeville

(Crestview Hills, Ky.) - The men's soccer program at Thomas More defeated Pikeville by a score of 3-2 with thirteen seconds remaining in the game. With the win the Saints improve to 3-8 overall and 2-8 in conference play.

• First-year Brady Randle started the scoring for TMU as the (Cold Spring, Ky./Newport Central Catholic) finished a goal off a cross from sophomore Charlie Allan (Cardiff, Wales/Cardiff)with three minutes left in the first half giving Thomas More an early 1-0 lead. 
• Senior Adam Matthews (Cincinnati, Ohio/Anderson) scored on a penalty kick at the 43:47 to give the Saints a 2-0 lead heading into the half.
• Pikeville's Billy Quiteno scored at the 52:02 mark to bring the Bears back to within one.
• Jeinner Farfan scored the equalizer with nine minutes remaining in regulation.
• Allan scored the game winner as the midfielder sunk a penalty kick to give TMU a 3-2 win.

• Allan recorded one goal and one assist on the night.
• Randle scored his first goal of the season in the win and recorded a game high four shots on goal.
• The senior Matthews netted his second goal of the season.
• Outshot Pikeville 27-4 and 13-3 with shots on goal.

• The Saints will open Mid-South Conference Tournament play next week. 
• Mid-South Conference office will be posting the tournament pairings later tonight or tomorrow.
