Box Score (MARIETTA, Ga.)- Thomas More's men's soccer team come up short in a heartbreaking 4-3 loss to Life. The Saints overall record falls to 2-7 and 1-7 in the conference.
- With 40:12 left to play in the first half, first-year mid-fielder Ben Oliver (Eckington,England/Hartpury College) found the back of the net, assisted by Adam Matthews to put the Saints up 1-0.
- Life's Thierry Jules scored with 33:53 to play in the first half to make the game 1-1.
- Life's Thierry Jules would score again with 31:53 to play, assisted by Mattheus Wolfe to give them a 2-1 lead.
- Thomas More's sophomore forward Thomas Wolfe (Marysville, Ohio/Marysville) would then score with 22:50 on the clock in the first half assisted by senior forward Brendan Jones (Cincinnati, Ohio/Summit Country Day)to put the Saints right back in it (2-2).
- With 19:57 left to play in the first half, junior mid-fielder Griffin Garrison (Cincinnati, Ohio/McNicholas) scored to give the Saints the lead once again (3-2), assisted by Wolfe.
- Life's Luciano Diaz would score with 31:15 to play in the second half, assisted by Bart Kooistra to make it 3-3.
- With 17:36 to play, Life's Luciano Diaz would score off of a penalty kick to give Life a 4-3 lead.
- Wolfe had three shots with one being on goal which was a goal and one assist.
- Oliver and and Garrison both had one shot on goal which were both goals.
- Senior Pierce Turner (Milford, Ohio/Milford) had three shots with two being on goal.
- Matthews and Jones both had one assist.
- Sophomore Goalkeeper George Tidswell (Skipton, England/South Craven School) played all 90 minutes recording four saves.
