Women's Soccer Falls to Cumberland, 1-0

(CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.)- Thomas More's women's soccer team fall to Cumberland in a 1-0 loss on Sunday afternoon (March 14). The Saints overall record falls to 2-6 and 2-5 in the conference. 

• With 7:39 left to play, Cumberland's Michele Scholz kicked in a goal to put them up 1-0.

• Sophomore midfielder Ryann Meddings (Fairfield, Ohio/Fairfield) had four shots with one on goal.
• Senior midfielder Morgan Beare (Cincinnati, Ohio/Oak Hills), First-year forward Ainsley Clark (Oxford, Ohio/Talawanda), and senior defender Abby Hutcheson (Zanesville, Ohio/Rosecrans) all had one shot.
• First-year Izzy Whitis (Bardstown, Ky./Thomas Nelson) played all 90 minutes for the Saints in the net, recording four saves.

Next up, the Saints take on Martin Methodist at BB&T Field on March 16 with a 1:00 pm ET kick-off.
