Women's Volleyball Split MSC Opener to Cumberland and #15 Lindsey Wilson

(CRESTVIEW HILLS, KY.)- Thomas More women's volleyball team split MSC opener on Saturday (February 20) with a 3-0 win over Cumberland and a 3-1 loss to #15 Lindsey Wilson.

Cumberland (Tenn.) Match

• Thomas More swept Cumberland in three sets with the scores of 25-20, 25-10, and 25-8.
• Sophomore setter Rachel Berwanger (Cincinnati, Ohio/Mercy McAuley) finished with four digs and eight assists.
• Junior defensive specialist Megan Finley (North Bend, Ohio/Taylor) had nine digs. 
• Junior setter Lizzie Schoenfeld (Cincinnati, Ohio/Seton) had 18 assists and six digs.
• Sophomore middle hitter Sawyer Lorentz (Dover, Ohio/Dover) had seven kills and eight blocks with one dig.
• Junior outside hitter Emily Mohs (Cincinnati, Ohio/Seton) added 13 kills, six digs, and two blocks.

Lindsey Wilson Match

•  Thomas More fell to #15 Lindsey Wilson 3-1 with the score of 25-16, 23-25, 26-24, and 25-19.
• Junior outside hitter Emily Mohs (Cincinnati, Ohio/Seton) had 13 kills, 26 digs, one block, and two assists.
• Sophomore middle hitter Sawyer Lorentz (Dover, Ohio/Dover) had eight kills and one block.
• Sophomore setter Rachel Berwanger (Cincinnati, Ohio/Mercy McAuley) finished with nine digs and 20 assists.
• Junior setter Lizzie Schoenfeld (Cincinnati, Ohio/Seton) had 18 assists and four digs.
• Junior defensive specialist Victoria Raque (Louisville, Ky./Assumption) had 12 digs.
• Junior defensive specialist Megan Finley (North Bend, Ohio/Taylor) had 18 digs.
