Box Score (CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.)-Thomas More University women's volleyball team swept Freed-Hardeman 3-0 on Saturday afternoon (October 9). The Saints overall record improves to 19-3 and 7-2 in the conference.
The Saints won 3-0 over Freed-Hardeman with the scores of 25-16, 25-19. and 25-14.
- Senior outside hitter Emily Mohs (Cincinnati, Ohio/Seton) tallied 17 kills to lead the team and had eight digs and two blocks.
- First-year defensive specialist Asia Ferrando (Masone, Italy / Barletti Ovada) registered 15 digs to lead the defense for the Saints.
- Senior Lizzie Schoenfeld (Cincinnati, Ohio/Seton) recorded 18 assists to lead the team.
- First-year Sam McClanahan (Georgetown, Ky. / Scott County) followed with 14 assists.
- Junior Sawyer Lorentz (Dover, Ohio/Dover) had three total blocks to lead the team.
Next up, the Saints battle Cumberlands (Ky.) at home in the Connor Convocation Center on Wednesday night (October 13) at 7:00 pm.
