- Thomas More started the scoring as first-year Lotte Derksen (Didam, Netherlands / Liemers College) found the back of the net at 24:35 mark in the first half, junior Ryann Meddings (Fairfield, Ohio / Fairfield) and first-year Amy Bos (Beuningen, Netherlands / Mondial College Nijmegen) were on the assist.
- Lindsey Wilson would score with 17 seconds left in the first half to tie the game up at one going into halftime.
- The Blue Raiders scored four minutes after the whistle blew for second half as Rayssa De Souza l found the back of the net to give LWC their first lead of the night at 2-1.
- Lindsey once again found the back of the net as Rayssa De Souza scored off a free kick with 14:54 remaining in the game.

The women's soccer team will return to the pitch on October 9, as they travel to Campbellsville, Kentucky to take on Mid-South Conference foe Campbellsville University at 6:30 p.m. ET.
