Box Score (PIKEVILLE, Ky.)-Thomas More University women's volleyball team passed Pikeville in a clean 3-0 sweep on Wednesday evening (October 27). The Saints overall record improves to 24-4 and 12-2 in the conference.
The Saints won 3-0 over Pikeville with the scores of 25-23, 25-19, and 25-14.
- Senior Emily Mohs (Cincinnati, Ohio/Seton) led things for the Saints with 14 kills and had two blocks.
- Junior Sawyer Lorentz (Dover, Ohio/Dover) followed with seven kills and led things for the Saints defensively with three blocks.
- First-year Sydney Hilderbran (Cincinnati, Ohio/Lakota West) also recorded three total blocks.
- First-year Asia Ferrando (Masone, Italy / Barletti Ovada) tallied 17 digs to lead the team.
- Sophomore Kaitlyn Stivers (Louisville, Ky./Eastern) recorded 10 digs.
- First-year Sam McClanahan (Georgetown, Ky./Scott County) notched 17 assists to lead the team and had two blocks.
- Senior Lizzie Schoenfeld (Cincinnati, Ohio/Seton) followed with 11 assists.
Next up, the Saints return back to the court next Friday evening (November 5) at 7:00 pm in the Connor Convocation Center #10 Life.
