Box Score Crestview Hills, Ky. - The women's soccer program at Thomas More defeated Georgetown by a score of 4-3 in double overtime. With the win the Saints improve to 9-8 overall and 5-6 in Mid-South Conference play.
- Cleo Wells would give Georgetown the early lead in the 13th minute off a feed from Libby Miller.
- The Tigers would once again add to the scoring column this time it was Madie Sparks on a pass by Miller.
- Thomas More cut into the lead in the 18th minute as first-year Eva Kinwel (Anaheim, Netherlands / Beehadal lyceum) found the back of the net on an indirect free kick set up by Ryann Meddings (Fairfield, Ohio / Fairfield) and Amy Bos (Beuningen, Netherlands / Mondial College Nijmegen), making the score 2-1 in favor of Georgetown.
- Miller would once again be involved in the scoring for the Tigers this time it was her that scored the goal off an assist from Carson Smith.
- Junior Sydney Rhodes (South Lebanon, Ohio / Kings) would get on the scoreboard as Meddings found Rhodes foot off a corner, cutting the lead to 2-3 in favor of Georgetown.
- Graduate student Nely Martinez-Hernandez (Madrid, Spain / Jaime Ferran) hit a rocket from the top of the 18 that hit the bottom of the cross bar and cross the line to tie the game up at three all.
- Thomas More outshot the Tigers by a 21-6 margin.
- The Saints had 17 shots on goal.
- Rhodes and Kinwell each increased their team goal lead to eight each.
- Meddings and Bos led the team in shots with four each.
- Meddings had a season high three assists on the night.
- Thomas More did not allow a shot from Georgetown in the second half.
