Saints Fall 3-1 at Pikeville in Mid-South Tournament Opening Round

(CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.) – The Thomas More University men's soccer team's season ended with a 3-1 loss at the University of Pikeville on Tuesday night (November 5, 2019) in the Opening Round of the Mid-South Conference Tournament.

• Junior Bryce Day (Edgewood, Ky./Covington Catholic) scored the game's first goal in the 35th minute, assisted by first-year Matthew Lodge (Northampton, England/Northampton Town).

• The two teams were level with eight shots on goal each, with Pikeville holding a 19-16 edge on total shot attempts.
• Senior Ethan Smith (Columbus, Ind./Columbus North) had seven shot attempts and two shots on goal to lead the Saints attack.
• Reese Foster (Florence, Ky./Covington Catholic) finished with three shots on goal.

• Thomas More ends the season 5-11-1 overall and finished the regular season 0-7-1 in Mid-South Conference play.
