Saints Swept by No. 10 Lindsey Wilson in Mid-South Finals

(BOWLING GREEN, Ky.) — The second-seeded Thomas More University women's volleyball team fell 3-0 to top-seeded No. 10 Lindsey Wilson College in the Mid-South Conference Tournament championship match on Saturday night (November 16, 2019) at Bowling Green Arena in Bowling Green, Ky.

• Thomas More, which received votes in the latest NAIA Top 25 poll, lost by the scores of 25-11, 25-20, 27-25.
• The Saints dropped to 24-8 overall.
• Lindsey Wilson improved to 29-5.
• The Blue Raiders hit .265, compared to .137 for the Saints.
• Sophomore Emily Mohs (Cincinnati, Ohio/Seton) finished with a team-high 12 kills and tied for the team lead with three blocks.
• Senior Jenna Mummert (Batavia, Ohio/Clermont Northeastern) had six kills and three blocks.
• Senior Madison Krumpelman (Crestview Hills, Ky./Holy Cross) totaled five kills and led the Saints with nine digs.
• Junior libero Jessica Ginn (Cincinnati, Ohio/Seton) had eight digs.
• Sophomore setter Lizzie Schoenfeld (Cincinnati, Ohio/Seton) led the team with 19 assists.
• Junior setter Madison Read (Hebron, Ky./St. Henry) finished with 10 assists.

• Thomas More will wait to find out if they will qualify for the 40th Annual NAIA Volleyball National Championship Presented by Delta Hotels. The tournament will be played December 3-7 at the Tyson Events Center in Sioux City, Iowa. The 44-team field will be announced next week.
