(CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.) – The Thomas More University women's soccer completed an undefeated home schedule tonight (Wednesday, October 30, 2019) as it defeated Georgetown College, 2-0, in a Mid-South Conference match at BB&T Field in Crestview Hills, Kentucky.
- The Saints took a 1-0 lead in the 22nd minute when first-year defender Ryann Meddings' (Fairfield, Ohio/Fairfield) corner kick found the back of the net.
- In the 34th minute junior forward Hannah Dargo (Maineville, Ohio/Kings) dribble through the defense and scored.
- Thomas More ends the regular season at 12-6 overall and 5-3 in the Mid-South.
- The Saints finished with an 11-0 record at BB&T Field and have posted nine shutouts.
- The Tigers fall to 7-10 overall and 3-5 in the Mid-South.
- First-year goalkeeper Skylin Yates (Dry Ridge, Ky./Simon Kenton) earned the shutout win in goal as she had five saves in 90 minutes.
- Thomas More had a 21-13 advantage in shots, including 11-5 on-goal.
- Sophomore midfielder/forward Jordan Harley (Cincinnati, Ohio/Mercy) led the team in shots with four, including one on-goal.
- Dargo had three shots, all on-goal.
- First-year forward Haley Dougherty (Dry Ridge, Ky./Simon Kenton) finished with three shots.
- Thomas More will now play in the Mid-South Conference Tournament beginning on November 7 at Warren East High School in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
- Tournament seeding and game times will be announced this week by the Mid-South Conference.
