Saints Extend Win Streak to Six Matches with Sweep at Pikeville

(PIKEVILLE, Ky.) — The Thomas More University women's volleyball team extended its winning streak to six matches with a sweep of the University of Pikeville on Friday night (October 18, 2019) in a Mid-South Conference match.

• Thomas More won by the scores of 25-20, 25-16, 25-15.
• The Saints improved to 18-6 overall and 9-2 in Mid-South Conference play.
• UPike fell to 6-15 overall and 0-10 in the Mid-South.
• First-year middle hitter Sawyer Lorentz (Dover, Ohio/Dover) had a team-high 12 kills and four blocks.
• Sophomore outside hitter Emily Mohs (Cincinnati, Ohio/Seton) finished with nine kills.
• Senior Madison Krumpelman (Crestview Hills, Ky./Holy Cross) led the Saints with 13 digs.
• Junior setter Madison Read (Hebron, Ky./St. Henry) finished with 20 assists and nine digs.
• Sophomore setter Lizzie Schoenfeld (Cincinnati, Ohio/Seton) had 12 assists and five digs.
• Junior defensive specialist Jessica Ginn (Cincinnati, Ohio/Seton) had seven digs.

• Thomas More will return home for a Mid-South match against Life University on Friday, October 25 at 7 p.m.
