Box Score (CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.) – The Thomas More University women's volleyball team beat Campbellsville in four sets, 20-25, 25-18, 25-20, and 25-21, on Tuesday night (October 1, 2019) at the Connor Convocation Center to improve their Mid-South Conference record to 6-1 and move into sole possession of first place.
- Thomas More improved to 11-4 overall and 4-0 at home.
- Campbellsville fell to 13-10 overall and 2-5 in the Mid-South.
- The Saints extended their winning streak at the Connor Convocation Center to 26 matches. Their last home loss was in five sets to Hanover on September 21, 2016.
- Senior Jenna Mummert (Batavia, Ohio/Clermont Northeastern) finished with 13 kills, 11 digs, and six aces.
- Sophomore outside hitter Emily Mohs (Cincinnati, Ohio/Seton) had a team-high 14 kills.
- Sophomore setter Lizzie Schoenfeld (Cincinnati, Ohio/Seton) had a team-high 22 assists and 18 digs.
- Junior setter Madison Read (Hebron, Ky./St. Henry) had 17 assists.
- Senior outside hitter Madison Krumpelman (Crestview Hills, Ky./Holy Cross) had 15 digs.
- Junior libero Jessica Ginn (Cincinnati, Ohio/Seton) finished with 14 digs.
- Senior defensive specialist Sara Crooker (Williamsburg, Ohio/McNicholas) had 12 digs.
- Thomas More will travel to No. 10 Lindsey Wilson for a first-place showdown on Thursday, October 3, at 6 p.m. The Blue Raiders are a game behind the Saints at 5-2 in the Mid-South, and they are 13-4 overall.
