(CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.) – Thomas More University senior guard Madison Temple (Cincinnati, Ohio/Anderson) recorded a triple-double tonight (Wednesday, November 14, 2018) to lead the fifth-ranked Saints to a 95-69 win over Midway University in the Saints' home opener at the Connor Convocation Center in Crestview Hills, Kentucky.
- The Saints led 23-13 after one quarter.
- Thomas More shot 47.6 percent from the field in the quarter.
- First-year guard Asyah Mitchell (Kenton County, Ky./Cooper) scored eight points in the first quarter.
- Midway opened the quarter on a 9-2 run cut the lead to 25-22 with 6:14 to play in the quarter.
- Thomas More answered with a 17-3 lead to increase the lead to 42-25 on a Mitchell lay-up with 1:30 to play in the quarter.
- The Saints led 44-32 at intermission.
- The Saints out-scored Midway 29-14 in the third quarter to build a 73-46 lead.
- Thomas More shot 57.1 percent from the field in the third quarter.
- Junior guard Kaela Saner (Florence, Ky./Boone County) scored 13 points in the quarter
- Temple finished with nine points in the quarter.
- Thomas More led by as many as 32 points in the quarter when sophomore forward Allison Gribben (Edgewood, Ky./Notre Dame Academy) made a lay-up with 3:00 to play in the game.

- Temple, who was named the Jimmy John's Player of the Game, had 26 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists to record her triple-double and added three blocks and five steals.
- Mitchell finished the game with 17 points and six rebounds.

- Sophomore guard Hayden White (Milford, Ohio/Milford) had seven rebounds.
- Senior forward Shelby Rupp (Milan, Ind./Batesville) had eight points and seven rebounds.
- Senior guard Kelly Clapper (Newark, Ohio/Newark Catholic) finished with seven points and three rebounds.
- Sophomore guard Briana McNutt (Maysville, Ky./Mason County) finished with six rebounds.
- The Saints return to action on Friday and Saturday (November 16-17) when they travel to Danville, Kentucky to play in Centre College Tournament.
