Box Score (CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky.) – The Thomas More volleyball team added to its winning streak defeating Westminster, 3-0, today with scores of 25-13, 25-17, 25-20. With the win, the Saints advance to 13-4 overall and 6-0 in conference play as well as a 10 game win streak. With the loss, the Titans fall to 11-2 overall and received their first loss in conference play, making them 5-1.
Rachel Bronner recorded two attacks and led the team in digs recording 14. Carlee Lambert and Jenna Mummert recorded the Saints' only blocks each having two. Mummert also had three digs and eight kills. Lambert also had eight kills and one dig. Madison Krumpelman led the team in kills, putting up 11, along with six digs. Jenna Fessler led the match with 31 assists. Fessler also recorded five digs, three service aces, and two kills. Alli Borders recorded four kills, two assists, three service aces, and eight digs. Rana Cousin had five kills on 11 attempts, giving her a hitting percentage of .346.
The Saints look to continue their win streak on Sept. 30 when they take on PAC rival Bethany and Geneva. The matches will be played at Bethany and is set to start at 1:00PM and 3:00PM. The Saints will return home on Oct. 8.
