Box Score (GROVE CITY, Pa.) – The Thomas More College volleyball team blanked Grove City College, 3-0, today (Saturday, October 28, 2017) in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) match at Grove City College Arena in Grove City, Pennsylvania. The Saints won the match by the scores of 25-8, 25-19 and 25-10.
With the win, the Saints improve to 26-5 overall and 17-0 in the PAC. With the loss, the Wolverines fall to 10-19 overall and 7-11 in the PAC.
Junior setter Jenna Fessler (Fort Mitchell, Ky./Beechwood) paced the offense with 27 assists. The Saints attack was led by sophomore outside hitter Madison Krumpelman (Crestview Hills, Ky./Holy Cross) and sophomore middle hitter Jenna Mummert (Batavia, Ohio/Clermont Northeastern), who each had nine kills.
On the defensive side of the net, sophomore outside hitter Sara Crooker (Williamsburg, Ohio/McNicholas) had 14 digs and first-year defensive specialist Jessica Ginn (Cincinnati, Ohio/Seton) added 13 digs.
Thomas More will close out the regular season tomorrow when it takes on Thiel College at 12 p.m. in Greenville, Pennsylvania.
