Box Score (BETHANY, WV.) – The Thomas More College women's soccer team fell to Bethany, 1-0, today Saturday Oct. 21. With the loss, the Saints fall to 11-4-1 overall and 6-1 In the PAC. With the win, the Bison improve to 9-7-1 overall and 3-2-1 in the PAC.
Ashley Maples recorded the team high of 11 shots and seven shots on goal. Hanna Dargo was the second highest Saint in shots, recording four. Abby Stadtmiller had three shots and three shots on goal. Thomas More had the advantage in shots, 24-2. The Bethany goal keeper, Anna Riddle, had 1 saves in the match, also recording a shut-out. Olivia Nienaber recorded three shots and one shot on goal. The Saints had a total of 24 shots and 15 on goal.
Aleyna Heyman played all 90 minutes in the match. She only had two shots on her allowing the one goal in the match.
The Saints are back in action on Oct. 24 hosting Westminster. The match is set to start at 4:00 PM.
