Box Score (NEW WILMINGTON, Pa.) – The Thomas More College women's volleyball team travelled to New Wilmington, Pa. to take on Westminster College. The Saints defeated the Titans 3-0 with scores of 27-25, 25-14, 25-15. With the win, Thomas More improves to 23-5 overall and 14-0 in the PAC. With the loss, Westminster falls to 21-5 overall and 12-3 in the PAC. The Saints are now on a five game winning streak with the win tonight.
Madison Krumpelman led the team in kills, recording 10, along with two service aces, and 12 digs. Carlee Lambert was just behind her in kill, recording nine, along with one assist, three digs, and three blocks. Jenna Fessler led the team in assists, having 30 on the night. Fessler also recorded five kills, three service aces, 10 digs, and one block. Rana Cousin recorded seven blocks having the team high on the night. Cousin also had four kills and one digs. Rachel Bronner recorded 18 kills and three assists in the match.
The Saints are back in action taking on Bethany and Waynesburg on Oct. 21. The Bethany match will start at 12:00 PM and the Waynesburg match will start at 6:00 PM.
