Box Score (LATROBE, Pa.) – The Thomas More College volleyball team remained undefeated in the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) as it defeated Saint Vincent College, 3-0, today (Sunday, September 13, 2015) in a PAC match at the Carey Center in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. The Saints won by the scores of 25-16, 25-11 and 25-19.
With the win, the Saints improve to 4-3 overall and 3-0 in the PAC. With the loss, the Bearcats fall to 2-6 overall and 0-1 in the PAC.
Sophomore setter Jenna Fessler (Fort Mitchell, Ky./Beechwood) paced the offense with 31 assists. Senior outside hitter Stacy Howell (Cincinnati, Ohio/Glen Este) led the team in kills with 12, while junior middle hitter Alexis Bierbaum (Cincinnati, Ohio/McAuley) added seven.
Defensively, sophomore defensive specialist Rachel Bronner (Reading, Ohio/Mount Notre Dame) led the team with 14 digs and Howell finished with 12.
Thomas More returns to action on Friday (September 18) when it hosts Washington & Jefferson College at 7 p.m. at the Connor Convocation Center in Crestview Hills, Kentucky.
